Ali Abdulhafoth Mohsin is a highly skilled and goal-oriented Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the field. He has a proven record of completing domestic and international projects on time and to customer satisfaction, making him an efficient team player. Ali has excellent communication and managerial skills, which make him an ideal candidate for any team. Ali has a technical skillset that includes Mobile Applications and Communication, Software Architecture and Implementation, and good knowledge of well-known libraries for Android. He has worked with some of the biggest multinational companies in the world, including AT&T, Orasacom Telecom, and Zain Telecom. Currently, Ali is working at Facebook as a Software Engineer. He is a part of the Spark Camera Core AR team, where he has worked on multiple Android projects as an infrastructure team member. He handles camera and video recording in Spark/AR sdk that enables VR, audio, video, and picture capture in all Facebook apps family like IG, FB, Messenger, and WhatsApp. Ali is also a part of the Messenger Privacy Team, where he is working on multiple Android projects, including chatHeads and other privacy features that have had a big impact on user base and privacy for users in general. Before joining Facebook, Ali worked at Pandora as a Sr. Software Engineer, where he was a part of the Android Ad Delivery team. His responsibilities included implementing Audio, Video, and Banner ads fetch, aggregation, and displaying on Pandora Android application. He also integrated and maintained multiple ads SDKs like Google DFP, Facebook ads SDK, and proprietary in-house Haymaker SDKs. Ali has also worked at VMware as a Staff Software Engineer, where he was a part of the SDK development team for Android platform and cloud services. He designed and implemented cloud services and API’s to support client applications implementation using C# and SQL DB. Ali was also responsible for leading the team and working hands-on in the design and implementation of new shared features for SDK and new applications utilizing best practices and design with a glance for testability and performance. He created multiple Proof of Concepts for the implementations of the new android platform APIs and features. Ali holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering from Al Nahrain University, where he also completed his Bachelor's degree in the same field.
